Global food security, a ticking time bomb | #HelpUsFeedYou
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, there’s another looming crisis – food security. Unless there is a radical change in policies including a guarantee to the people’s right to food and prioritizing food sovereignty, the current global health crisis can potentially become a hunger crisis. The Peoples Coalition on Food Sovereignty (PCFS) is proposing immediate to medium-term policy recommendations to ensure people’s right to food amid the global COVID-19 pandemic.
