Recap: Day of the Landless 2020
On March 29, PCFS members and networks took to online platforms to expose the severity of the continuing problem of global landlessness by bringing focus to the unseen and disenfranchised landless rural peoples. With global sweep of COVID-19, participating organizations also highlighted the failures of neoliberal policies that only aggravate the vulnerability of the rural peoples, especially the landless, from the pandemic’s resulting socio-economic impacts and their susceptibility to contracting the disease.
